CONGRATULATIONS!!!
Many thanks to all the families who attended the Court of Honor this past Thursday to celebrate the accomplishments of our boys. We congratulate our Scouts on the merit badges earned, rank advancements achieved, service hours worked, and new leadership positions! We encourage you to continue to be all you can be in Scouting.
We also want to thank our adult volunteers for their commitment to Scouting and Troop 306. You make all of our successes possible!
MARYLAND RENAISSANCE FESTIVAL
We are seeking volunteers for our next fundraising opportunity with Maryland Renaissance Festival on Sunday, October 24. This is a fun event with lots of interesting people to see! On this day, we work with other volunteers and sale sodas at concession stands located throughout the festival. The Troop receives a sizable donation for the service provided ($11.75 for each participant, plus tips). A total of 21 volunteers are needed, 7 of which must be adults. Scouts must be 14 years & up to volunteer, but adults from families with younger Scouts should still participate.
The sign-up genius link is posted below for your convenience. Please consider volunteering your time for this fun and important event! If the adult slots fill up, please sign up a Scout. The more adults the merrier for this great day at the Ren Fest!

WE NEED YOU!
Troop 306 has officially entered its 109th year, which is pretty awesome! This accomplishment is greatly due to the support from CPC, the community, and in particular parental involvement, and all of which are necessary for the Troop to continue to thrive. We encourage each family to attend the Troop Committee meeting held on the first Thursday of every month at 7:30 pm -- this is a great way to learn about upcoming plans, see how the Troop is managed, and obtain more information about areas of need. The meetings are currently being held via Zoom.
SCOUTING IS IN HIGH GEAR!!!!! LET'S HAVE A GREAT SCOUT YEAR!!!!
