GREAT NEWS!!!  Catonsville Presbyterian Church will allow the Troop (and the Pack) to resume meeting indoors.  We greatly appreciate the support and advocacy of Ms. Glenda with this matter!  Our regular Scout meetings will be indoors starting in December.  The PLC and Troop Committee meetings will continue to be virtual.

CHRISTMAS TREE SALE & CPC GROUNDS CLEANUP

We greatly appreciate all of the Scouts and parents who came out and helped with setting up the Christmas tree stand area, unloading and sorting the trees, and cleaning up the church grounds!!!  You all rock!!!

Our Christmas tree sale jumped off immediately yesterday -- we sold 6 trees before the sale officially began at noon.  We expect the trees to go quickly this year, so if you planning to purchase one, don't delay!

RE-CHARTERING!!!

We are quickly approaching the re-chartering deadline.  Many thanks to the adult leaders and parents who have submitted their payments and completed YPT.  As of this morning, there are only a handful of stragglers, and Cynthia will communicate directly with those individuals.

EAGLE PROJECT FUNDRAISER AT PEACE-A-PIZZA FOR GREGORY JONES

Gregory Jones is having a fundraiser at Peace-A-Pizza on Wednesday, 12/8/2021, from 3 - 7 pm to help with the cost of his Eagle Project.  Gregory will be completing a beautification and landscaping project to draw attention to the main entrance of Emmanuel Lutheran School in Catonsville, MD.

A portion of the proceeds from this event will go towards his fundraising efforts.  Gregory is very thankful for the support of Peace-A-Pizza, and hopes that you will join him that afternoon/evening for dinner or a snack.  Carry-out and dine-in options are available.

Thank you in advance for your support!

COCOA & CAROLS AT CPC

Everyone is invited — all ages, friends, the Catonsville community — to an afternoon of singing and fellowship on Sunday, December 12, at 7 pm at Catonsville Presbyterian Church. CPC will provide the cocoa and the songbooks.  Get your voices ready for “Deck the Halls,” “O Come, All Ye Faithful,” and maybe even “Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer.”

No RSVP required — just a festive holiday spirit!  All ages are welcome to come early, by 6:45 p.m., to assemble an ornament in fellowship hall.

POPCORN SALE

The deadline for traditional popcorn orders has passed, but families may still sell popcorn online through 12/31/2021.  It's very easy to set up and share your sale page.  If you're interested, please contact Cynthia for more info.

WE NEED YOU!

Troop 306 has officially entered its 109th year, which is pretty awesome!  This accomplishment is greatly due to the support from CPC, the community, and in particular parental involvement, and all of which are necessary for the Troop to continue to thrive.  We encourage each family to attend the Troop Committee meeting held on the first Thursday of every month at 7:30 pm -- this is a great way to learn about upcoming plans, see how the Troop is managed, and obtain more information about areas of need.  The meetings are currently being held via Zoom.

SCOUTING IS IN HIGH GEAR!!!!!  LET'S HAVE A GREAT SCOUT YEAR!!!!
